1967 Triumph TR250

Purchased by Sports Car Gallery Of Beaver Falls 9 years ago from the 2nd owner in Charlotte, N.C. sold immediately to a Pittsburgh business exec. Won many Best-in-Class Best-Of-Show awards at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix events. Has “trophied” in every event it had been entered in by the Pittsburgh owner.I purchased the car 1 1/2 years ago for a good friend who has 2 children now wanted a 2+2 sports car so I gladly bought the 250 back from him. Original 2.5 in line 6 cylinder with stock manifolds carbs standard 4 speed gear box. Does have a Stebro exhaust. The odometer shows 1623 miles do not know if the odometer was zeroed during restoration or whether it is 101,623 miles. I believe the odo was reset as the car does not appear to be a 100,000+ miles example. The body shows no signs of damage or rust repair with the original body panels being straight true. The undercarriage appears to be in excellent original condition also showing no signs of rust whatsoever. The engine drive train are extremely strong with no smoke or hesitation from the engine. Trans shifts up down smoothly the differential is quiet. All gauges operate as they should as well as the heater, wipers, choke etc. The cars sports a black vinyl convertible top has the boot optional Tonneau cover. Car came originally with the hex knock offs but as the chrome was getting a little aged I opted to install an NOS set of the classic 2 eared spinners(original hex tool included). All latches locks including the glove box trunk are operational. The original steering wheel rubber coating was getting tired so the car now has a magnificent Classico Italiano wood steering wheel. Original comes with the car. The original painted wire wheels are in top condition as is the spare wheel. All chrome bright work is straight with no scratches or dents however the original chrome on the bumpers side mirror are showing their age.
