This is undoubtedly the most historically significant sports/racing car to ever come out of “The Land of the Rising Sun”. Bearing the VIN: MF10-10001(the first serial #’d Toyota 2000GT), combined with it’s stellar performance in Toyota’s first ever U.S. racing venture (1968 SCCA C-Production) where it was prepared & campaigned by Carroll Shelby for Toyota, we have the ultimate Japanese sports/racing car!!!

We added this car to our collection in 1980 & finished the frame off restoration in the early 90’s. Since then the car has seen action at NHIS, Monterey, Morroso & The Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car & it’s history were featured in a full length Japanese documentary that was released in movie theaters in Tokyo early in 2010.

This amazing piece of automotive history was campaigned in 2013 at NHIS, The Lime Rock Park Vintage Festival & The Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix. We achieved several “podium” finishes including 2 first place finishes as well as 1st in class at the Lime Rock “Sunday in the Park Concours”.  Our next Badge of Honor was awarded at the 2017 Amelia Island Concours with another 1st in Class!!!
